I cant wait for the whole game to come out!!! do we have a date yet? also I tried to download this on my computer laptop and it wasnt working but i was able to download it on my phone, can it be downloaded on my computer?
Positives: It's really funny, everyone feels in character, it feels true to Spooky Month. The visuals are beautiful and the character portraits are on-point. The character text boxes having visuals to show personality was a nice touch, as well as each character having a unique font for their names. Although I found Bob's to be a little small and unnoticeable.
Critique: The menu could use some work. A lot of stuff is really hard to see and I think that either adding a backing or altering the text color itself would help. Also, since the visual for the title screen is an open cookbook I think having the menu options on a different page of the book could be a fun idea, I know it would be more work on the artist so if this is not something that's able to be done it's completely understandable, just a suggestion. Also-also I think it would be really good if we had the ability to alter text sizes, for either dialogue boxes or background text. I found it a little jarring when each character got a different font, I understand what you're going for and found it really cute but it's a bit distracting and sometimes hard to read, however, changing each character's name in a different color and font worked really well.
I understand game making is hard, and I wanted to make sure you got good feedback to make your game the best it can be. Overall it's a really good demo, just needs polish but I think you're going in the right direction.
Great novella! I went through all the endings and I can say that it's really interesting (The situation with the store and one of Bob's endings is something HAHAHAH ..) I'm looking forward to the new chapter. Keep it up guys!
